The debut of Clarice, the nightclub singer both chipmunks fall for, and by some distance the most sophisticated-looking short in the Chip and Dale series — the Acorn Club is genuinely well designed, and the film is more of a small musical than a chase. Clarice has been revived repeatedly by Disney since, largely on the strength of this one appearance.
