A pelican and a snipe set up light housekeeping in a lighthouse. The pelican flies in his sleep, dreaming that he’s a dive bomber, and the snipe saves him.

A gentle two-hander about a sleepwalking pelican and the friend who keeps saving him. It is unusually sweet-natured for the period and one of very few Disney shorts built entirely on a friendship between two minor original characters — no stars, no chase, just concern.
The pelican sleep-flies through what is implied to be a wartime sky.
