One of the best premises in the series: Tom inherits a fortune on condition that he harms no living creature, and Jerry finds out. It gives Jerry unlimited licence and Tom no recourse whatsoever, and the film builds to a decision that is genuinely satisfying because Tom finally chooses. Frequently listed among the series' finest.
