The Litterbug

Donald and his nephews are litterbugs: they drop garbage everywhere they go – even when they are out for a drive in Donald’s car – until they are stopped by a policeman who makes them pick up everything they have dropped. This was the last Donald Duck cartoon ever made.

Landmark
The last Donald Duck theatrical short of the original run, which makes it the end of an era that began in the 1930s. Fittingly, it is a public-information film about litter rather than a comedy — by 1961 the theatrical short was dying and Disney's animation was shifting to television and educational work.
