The one short Walt Disney personally directed after the studio had grown large — and it was poorly received, after which he never directed again and reportedly disliked having it mentioned. The King Midas story is told competently enough; the interest is entirely in the fact that the boss took the megaphone back, proved he had lost the knack, and had the sense to hand it over for good.
