A Silly Symphony that comes to life out of a willow-pattern plate — a common visual conceit of the period and a good example of how the series used design as its subject. The animation of the pursuit is lively; the setting is a set of ornaments rather than a country.
A 1931 fantasy China assembled entirely from Western decorative cliché.
