Widely considered the best of the Chuck Jones entries alongside Snowbody Loves Me. Tom is a concert baritone and Jerry is asleep in the pillar behind him, and the whole film is a battle fought without either performer being allowed to break the performance. It is a direct descendant of The Cat Concerto and holds up remarkably well against it.
