Home of the flypaper sequence β€” the single most important two minutes in the history of character animation. Norm Ferguson spent an extraordinary amount of screen time on a dog stuck to a piece of paper, and in doing so proved that an audience would watch a character think rather than watch a gag. Preston Sturges put the scene into his film Sullivan's Travels as the moment that redeems comedy itself, and animation historians have been pointing at it ever since. Genuinely worth watching closely.
