Pigs Is Pigs

A hungry little pig eats a couple of pies off the windowsill. When it’s time for dinner, he ties together the spaghetti of all the other little pigs and eats it all. That night, he has a nightmare where he is force-fed by a mad scientist.

A cautionary tale about greed with a surprisingly nightmarish middle act — the dream sequence is stylised, mechanical and closer to industrial horror than to a children's cartoon. Disney's 1950s shorts were increasingly willing to use flat, graphic design for exactly this kind of unease.
The nightmare sequence, in which the greedy pig is force-fed by a machine, is genuinely unsettling.
