Old King Cole
0 views
Old King Cole throws party and invites all of the Mother Goose characters. He warns them that they must leave at midnight. Another collection of characters puts on a stage show. The Ten Little Indian Boys get everyone dancing along. The Hickory Dickory Dock mice announce midnight, and everyone leaves, back into their books.

Curator’s rating
A Silly Symphony party in which every character from a book of nursery rhymes turns up at once. It is a direct sequel in spirit to Mother Goose Melodies, and it shows the series shifting from illustration to something closer to staging — the whole reel is designed as a single continuous variety show.
Includes a nursery-rhyme sequence with dated Native American caricature.
