Mickey’s Nightmare

Mickey dreams of marrying Minnie and having about 20 children. For all the possible joys of children, a brood this size turns the dream into a nightmare, especially when they get into the open cans of paint strewn about the house.

Mickey dreams of marriage and is promptly overwhelmed by twenty children. The dream-of-domesticity-as-horror premise recurred across 1930s animation, and it is one of the few places you see the studio poke at Mickey and Minnie's relationship rather than simply assume it.
