Mickey’s Follies
0 views
Mickey puts on a show in his barnyard. A short dramatic scene by a chicken and rooster; an operatic ode by Patricia Pig, and then the main attraction: Mickey sings and plays his theme song, then dances to it.

Historically notable as the short that introduced Mickey's own theme song, the one the character would be identified with for the rest of the studio's history. Beyond that it is a barnyard variety show — the format Disney used constantly in the early sound years, because a revue could be assembled from whatever gags were lying around.
