The definitive Mickey, Donald and Goofy short and a perennial Halloween fixture. Four bored ghosts hire the trio's ghost-hunting business purely for their own entertainment, which is a far wittier premise than the format required. The haunted-house staging, the trio's three distinct kinds of cowardice, and the flour-covered ending have been imitated endlessly — this is the direct ancestor of a great deal of later ghost-hunting comedy.
