Pluto’s cage-mate helps him escape from the pound and find a bone to eat. But Pluto is not especially grateful.

Curator’s rating
A Silly Symphony that is essentially a documentary about a dog pound, with Pluto as the reluctant hero and a small mongrel doing all the work. The parade of dog breeds gave the animators an excuse to draw dozens of distinct personalities in a row, which is what the Symphonies were really for.
