Gulliver Mickey

Mickey is looking after the orphans. He tells them the story of Gulliver (with Mickey in that role) in Lilliput, though without the satire and bawdy bits. The story ends with Mickey fighting a giant spider, about twice his size.

Curator’s rating
Mickey as Gulliver in Lilliput, told as a bedtime story with the satire and the rude parts carefully removed. The spider fight at the end is animated with far more menace than the framing device prepares you for, and is the sequence everyone remembers.
The climactic giant spider is genuinely alarming for very young viewers.
