Winner of the Academy Award for Best Short Subject (Cartoons), and adapted from Munro Leaf's book, which was at the time being banned and burned in parts of Europe for its supposed pacifism. The film is quiet, gentle and entirely uninterested in spectacle: a bull who would rather smell flowers than fight. It has never gone out of favour, and it is still one of the best things in the whole Disney short library to show a small child.
