Farmyard Symphony
1 views
The farm comes to life, to various classical tunes. The high point is a rooster serenading a chicken, with all the animals joining in. But then comes the sound thatβs even more welcome to the animals: the farmer and his wife with food (the only actual words spoken).

A late Silly Symphony built on operatic parody, with a barnyard courtship staged as grand opera. By 1938 the studio's animators were good enough that the joke works on performance alone β you can read the whole romance off the chickens without a word of dialogue.
