A Chuck Jones entry structured as a formal duel, which gives it the ritual-and-escalation shape Jones loved — each round more elaborate and more doomed than the last. The formality is the joke, and it is closer to a Road Runner short than to classic Tom and Jerry.
Duelling with pistols, swords and cannons throughout.
