One of the more affecting late episodes, and unusual for a children's cartoon in taking the character's age seriously rather than treating it as a joke. Scrooge was always written as genuinely old — Barks made him a Klondike prospector, which puts his youth in the 1890s — and the series occasionally remembered what that means.
Deals directly with ageing and with Scrooge believing his adventuring life is over.
