One of the best-remembered episodes of the later run and a properly clever premise: exponential growth, demonstrated to children, with the twist that the disaster is caused by the very thing everyone wanted. The visual escalation — an entire city drowning in its own money — is the show's central metaphor taken to its logical conclusion.
