Adapted from one of Carl Barks's most admired stories. A Shangri-La with no concept of wealth is ruined the moment Scrooge's discarded bottle caps become the first currency the valley has ever had, and inflation does the rest. It is an economics lesson disguised as an adventure, it is genuinely funny, and it is one of the very few children's cartoons that has been cited in actual writing about monetary policy.
