The title is a straight Indiana Jones joke, and the episode leans into it hard — the ancient-artefact-with-a-curse structure is Raiders almost beat for beat. It is one of the most-cited episodes among adult fans, partly because the curse sequences are genuinely well staged and partly because the show is so cheerfully open about what it is borrowing.
The pursuing spirit and its supernatural retribution are properly spooky.
