S01E33 - Back to The Klondike

Adapted from what is generally considered Carl Barks's masterpiece — a story about memory, regret and an old man's unfinished business that Barks's editors made him cut down at the time. Glittering Goldie is the only person who ever got the better of Scrooge, and the episode gives the character a past that actually costs him something. It is the emotional high point of the entire series and it is genuinely worth watching with children old enough to notice.
