One of the best-loved episodes and the one that does the most with Scrooge's Scottishness — which is not decoration but the core of the character. Barks made him a Glasgow-born immigrant who earned his first coin shining boots, and the series treats that backstory with real affection. The castle setting also gives the show licence to be properly gothic for once.
Ghostly hounds and a genuinely gothic Scottish castle; mildly frightening for the youngest viewers.
