Gyro, fed up with being unappreciated, ends up in a medieval kingdom where his inventions make him a hero.

A Connecticut Yankee premise, which children's animation has borrowed constantly since Twain wrote it. Gyro is the series' most sympathetic supporting character precisely because he is never thanked — the episode is about a clever person wanting to be valued, which is a more grown-up motive than the show usually risked.
