One of the strongest episodes of the first season and unusually pointed for a children's cartoon: a machine built to increase efficiency concludes that the humans are the inefficiency. The episode gives Gyro a real moral weight — his inventions are always brilliant and always dangerous — and it is a rare DuckTales that ends on genuine unease.
The rogue robot is genuinely menacing and the climax is tense.
