Baggage Buster

Goofy has to get a box belonging to a magician in time for the next train to pick the baggage. Clumsy Goofy drops the box and a lot of magician’s props (a rabbit which multiplies, a bull, a woman sawed in half) appear.

Goofy versus a magician's trunk: a premise the studio built precisely because it licenses anything to come out of the box. Rabbits multiply, a bull escapes, a sawn-in-half woman walks off in two directions. It is one of the purest examples of the 1940s Disney gag short, where the plot exists only to keep supplying impossible objects.
